Another great bagel address, actually not just bagels,... best address to have a huge hangover brunch that turns into lunch that turn into late night burger delight!

My friend Chloe talked about this place, and I have to say, it takes a lot to convince me not to go to my usual rose bakery breakfast route,...

When my friend Marie - France posted a picture of a bagel on het twitter...

I just could' stop thinking about it!!

So of course, you all know me..., I had to go there ASAP!!!

And boy, it was deeeelicious!! I had an eggplant tapenade / chicken / rucola bagel

My friend, sorry for dragging you along in my crazy obsessions had the chicken guacamole one!

Both fingerlickingly gooood!!!

And then, i just had to ask,

my ultimate bagel...

Cream cheese , jelly and an egg sunny side up,

can you make it?

And then they said something that was like music in my ears...

' We can make anything you want!'

Hope they won't regret saying that, 'cause now I will be there day and night!!!

Thank god they are opening 7/7!!!

Tartes Françoises cheesecake love affair!

Tonight, I will be eating these!!!

My speculoos addiction?

I can all blame it on Les Tartes de Françoises!

Never had a thing for speculoos!

When I got it with my coffee I always was very disapointed to say the least.

- Isn't the reason you order coffee , the cookie?-

Untill the day I ate their Cheesecake!

What was that!! What just happened? Damn!

It was all that speculoos base goodness!!

After that, all hell broke loose!

Got into speculoos overdrive! The paste, the ice cream, chocolate with bits of speculoos, even now the new alpro soya speculoos flavour!!

But the Tartes Françoises cheescake will always have a special place in my heart, and stomach!

Know all the places in Antwerp where they have the cheesecake! ( Exki ,Homey bar, Deckx, the Oona offices..., even NYC has one!!)

There isn't one cheesecake that will get away!

But now there is only one adress to remember:

Did you know you can't take printscreens while watching a movie!?

Wanna know how I discovered that?

Rented 'Beginners' a fabulous movie, with Ewan Mc Gregor, Melanie Laurent, Christopher Plummer and a Jack Russel, directed by Mike Mills

But to me, those weren't the stars of the movie,

it were the houses, the interiors, the esthetics!

Just Gorgeous!!
( ade me think of Sofia Copolla's Somewhere)

So of course i started to take print-screens of every detail of the house, every room,every little pot, pan, chair, you name it I print-screened it!

( too computer nerd for you?)

Was overexited to share it with you!!

until I saw that they are all empty!!

Soooo did the next best thing...

googled it!

Luckely I did! Now I know why I loved that house, those windows, that kitchen, the kitchen handles so much... It's the Lovell House designed by Richard Neutra ( loooooooved that house before, and now even more, actually everything Neutra does)

But Mike Mills captured it in such a way that it isn't obvious at all!

( so it's not my fault I didn't recongnize the architecture classic... pfieuwww)

And then there was Oliver's house ( Ewans)
so well decorated!
With stacks of National Geographic magazines, Union Jack flags used as curtains, and some thonet chairs, all white, great rugs, great bedding,....

Have I fallen for these...

Maybe you've already noticed it or not…. Eitherway you won’t get a chance any longer!

Have this little very persistant ear that just keeps on sticking out a little bit more than the other!
( there it is, now you know, secret's out!)

There is a new store that popped up in Antwerp!

Don't know who came up with this plan, but whoever it was, I think they just mashed together all my faves!

You know I have been trying to bring back the Timberlands for a while now (I gave them a strategic great place in my closet next to my Isabel Marant sneakers!) Trying to rock them out any chance I get! ( remember Daria in French Vogue... - Damn! - and my successful Tomorrowland rain and mud proof outfit!?)

So when I saw Timberland was going to open a pop-up shop in Antwerp I knew i just had to be there!!

And i knew I was going to loooooove it!

Now you can even customize them online, so the excuse that they dont match your outfit is no longer of use!

(Yeah, you, the ones making fun of my Timberlands at Tomorrowland! They were awesome!!)

Since i've received this book fron my oooh so sweet ' Martha Stewart on Louboutins' boss I have been cooking all my meals from this book!

Everything looks deeeeelicious!!

Even baked bread!!

Looked to easy and to delicious not to give it a try!

Think: Poached plums with Oatmeal

sourdough bread with goat yogurt and grilled tomatoes

Mushrooms on toast

French toast with greek yogurt warm blueberries and blackberries

You know what.... just go and shop it!!

Ever since Chantal from Step by Step ( Antwerp, Lombardenvest) showed us this book, I just can't stop thinking about it!

I was already sold at looking at the cover and that blue trimming around the pages!

ooooh can't stop thinking about how this book would look good in my interior!

but can stop thinking about how this book wouldn't make my interior look good...

I think Marc Grossman, without even knowing him, is starting to become one of my favorite persons!

( looooove a good bagel with cream cheese, jam, and an egg sunny side up - i know sound weird - tastes awesome!!), and one all about muffins,

I think he just wrote the best book ever about the best subject ever!

Before the movie, read the book!

Don't panic, it's a tiny one with 213 pages...

How can they make a hour and a half movie out of such a small book you wonder?

Well I could fill a movie with shooting Johnny Depp from every angle!

Great read, great writer, will be a great movie!

When my brother got exited over this recipe and asked me to make it, I was totally in!!

When I make my planning to go on a city trip to Paris, fitting in all my favorite places proves to be quite the challenge!

It's no so much about the shopping, but more about the breakfast'ing brunching lunching,...

3 meals a day just aren't enough!!
